Hey guys, thought I'd post this since I was going through my pictures tonight.

not too much of a story, it was a day outting with the wife and my buddy Nicol. shot a few chickens in the morning. Laura doesnt want to be a hunter, but likes to come out for a walk to enjoy the fresh air.

at about 1 pm Laura was ready to go home.

So Nicol and I drove her back to Kelowna, and went out for the afternoon in a different area. we saw a few nice mulie bucks but since we both were holding off for something a little bigger. we hiked cutblocks and pushed bush all afternoon. then about 45 mins before dark, i saw a spike that I wasnt going to pass up.

by the time we had him dressed out it was pitch black and we had about 500 yards to the road. so we left it overnight and came back the next day.

nice moose for sure. I guess there isn't a lot that could eat it up over night up there. My wife shot her cow moose shortly before dusk this past season around PG and i worked til 2am getting her all out while the wolves were all howling and my son was dealing with the flu he got on the trip. lol. Good on you for finding an immi.

Two points are great eating, if there is a two point and a big bull standing there we always take the two point 'cause of the eats and ease of operation. It's more than enough meat for the two of us and the '06 works great on them.
Oh, and your friend needs some camo or at least some old Skool red plaid :)

You sure you wouldn't want to hold out for a "bigger" spike/fork?

Great post, Ben! Congrats on getting your bull. Those guys aren't easy to find. Thanks for posting.
