Whitey's around Rockcreek

I am going up to the Rockcreek area Rememberance day week-end to hunt with some buds. This is my first time hunting this area and I was wondering if the whitetails would already be rutting up there? Any help, aside from your favorite honeyhole would be much apreciated:)

Went out to Beaverdell area yesteday. A little tricky:cry: trying to get around with 2 wheel drive. Many tracks, but only in thick stuff. Saw 2 puny does thats it.

They will be starting to rut now. Getting stronger as it gets later in November. I found a fresh scrape a couple of weeks ago close to home which I thought to be a bit early. It is weather dependent, and we have had alot of warm weather, with 4-5 days of very cold last week which should have triggered something in them. But it is warm and raining now, melting the snow we got on thursday.
