Been keeping in shape and on target through the spring going to 3D events and have a target in my backyard. Picked up a 3D target at a yard sale and was taking the odd shots today sliding open the patio door and sticking the new to me target when I drew back and settled the 20 pin on the vitals and released then a BANG almost like a gun shot. I was like what the fu*k, bows in one piece, looked past the bow and holy sh*t. I forgot to open the patio door, opps.

No under the belly, still went 25 yards but low by about 18 inches.

No one hurt, we had a good laugh over it, it's only glass.

Like someone walking in front of the door?

If someone was in my backyard without my knowledge they need to be shot.

Funner than all get out! you need to post this over in the "Senior Moments" thread.

Glad nobody was hurt and all that needs doing is glass replacement.

I'm blaming it on my wife, if she wasn't an OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder) clean freak there would have been a speck of dust to let me know it was closed. She does the same with plastic wrap, go to reach in the bowl only to bust a finger on the invisible wall of plastic.

That's funnier than shit. I choked on my Cerveza.
You can get her back by saran wrapping the toilet bowl, nice and tight and clear, then putting the seat down, and wait for the next time she goes pee.
That'll learn 'er for being so damn efficient! :D

Hey, don't replace the glass! Now you won't have to open it the next time you're practicing. Just use the hole. Think of it as practicing, shooting from a blind.

Made it but low about 15 inches and not much power by the time it hit the dirt.

Wow I'm impressed that the arrow didn't explode! What kind of arrow? You should send the picture along with a picture of the arrow to the manufacturer with permission to use it in their advertisements... they will probably send you a dozen! BTW - LOL!!!

Bow Walker

The tip on the arrow broke the glass and the flex of the shaft absorbed the shock of the tip hitting the glass - no surprise that the arrow didn't disintegrate.

Although - patio doors are usually made up of two layers of tempered glass. Unusual (perhaps) that the arrow made it through both layers of glass and still made it to the target........
