My First Bear

I was out bear hunting with a good friend Friday evening when he spotted this guy, he saw us after a few minutes of watching him, so we followed the trail we were on hoping to cut him off, sure enough, once we got around the corner he was about 75 meters up the side of the hill, he took a couple of snorts at us. Told my buddy to take the shot while I watched where he ran. He didn't make it far. It was a first bear for both of us, as we're both new to hunting.

Now that I've got something I'm even more excited to be out hunting. The fall season isn't going to come soon enough.

a couple of things from ontario.....first way to go thats awesome congrats on your success and welcome to the hunting world ....
