LEH Moose Hunt question?

Hello Everyone,
Myself and my Hunting partners were thinking of putting in for a LEH Bull Moose hunt this year? We were thinking in the Cariboo? We have never been to the part of our beautiful country so any advice would help? What were looking for is somewhere between 5-7 hours out of the lower mainland, and where we can hunt Mule deer as well? This is our first shot at moose so we were wondering would Oct1 - Oct31 be the best time as well?

The deer migrate out of region 5 by oct we spent 7 days there last year and didnt see one deer but we did see 8 moose and one died.good luck to ya

Same in 5-12 from our experiences. No deer come October that we saw.

Good deer and a fair chance at moose in 5-13 just north of Alexis creek. Loomis lake is a nice place to camp. Hunting by canoe is good in the chain lakes there. No motor allowed though.

The areas I apply/hunt moose in the cariboo... the numbers this year have been cut back terribly... One area there's 7 tags issued. I know 18 of us that apply.

Ya, I can't believe 5-03 got cut so bad, I'm goin elsewhere this year, good luck! K
