My weekend ride

My husband and I had our daughters babysat while we took some time out together on the quad for our 20th anniversary.
We decided to tour the backroads of Mission in hopes of getting lost for awhile.
Unfortunatley, we didn't see any wildlife but the scenerey was georgeous.

We finally found Salsbury Lake and had nice lunch while we gazed at the scenery

We continued on to find another remote lake that we had encountered 12 years ago while that was higher up in elevation.
Everything was fine until we encountered THIS!

We continued until the quad got stuck.
On the way down the scenery was breathtaking

Nice looking places, my wife and i do the same thing only in our truck. We dont have a quad.... And yep that damned snow has been a boar this year.
the lake looks fun to fish.

Googled the lake and found it contains rainbows and kokanee. One of the locals said there was cutthroat in that lake as well.
So...it sounds like good lake to go fishing in.

Perfect. Not a good day without that.

Yep...that was the highlight of the trip. I was in no hurry to get out of there.
