Here are a few pictures of some rams. I wish I could say these were mine, but these rams were shot by clients at Arctic Red River Outfitters where I got to work for the summer. Backpacking for sheep is unlike any other type of hunting I know of; I can't wait til I get the chance to hunt one for myself. Unfortunately for us BC residents it's tough to get a Dall because you need to hunt with an outfitter in the Yukon and NWT, which is unrealistic for most peoples bank accounts. Though, there are few places in northern BC where you can bag one of these trophies. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

KES, does Pat Dueling still guide for Arctic Red River?

I seen some pictures a few years back from A.R.R. Outfitters and they were awsome. Definately a place I would love to hunt.

Awesome Pics! That right there is a dream of mine. Maybe I'll get tired of chasing muleys and I'll move up there so I can be a resident hunter. ;) I've heard very good things about Arctic Red. One of the best Dall outfitters out there.

I know him. He hunts with a friend of mine from Clearwater. They stayed at my wall tent camp last December looking for muleys. Didn't get one though.

Aye just gorgeous.

Speaking from heresay, there are bigger ones, apparently one or two that will smash the world record. THey hold tight in the timber on the oppostite to highway side of Kamloops lake. I know a wildlife guy who used to live on the lake and glass every morning/evening from his living room. Used to see the big boys come down late oct fromt he trees and startin pushin their weight around.

Dont know about those odds - its like 1:667 so imho, id rather shoot a small one then tie my chances up of never getting one in sevel lifetimes.

Delivered mail all night, woke up the next night and somehow Stonesheepsteve had loaded me up and driven into the middle of the Peace. -25 and plenty of snow - gawd was it cold. I didn't cut any tags, never do anyways. I'm actually just an animal lover that hangs out on hunting sites.
