Streams for fly fishing around PG?

I've got a few lakes I want to try out but was wondering if anyone would be willing to share a creek or two that might be worth throwing a fly on? Thanks!

when i was a kid i fished the crooked river where is meets the "angus mac" was what my dad called it...caught bows and dollies. 25 years ago

crooked is one of the few that are exempt from spring closure..

look on map where crooked crosses the highway, if travelling north walk /wade left/west i believe..you can fish all the log jams down to where the angus mac meets it..if anyone does this please let me know..i have some of my best memories as a kid there...

Try talking to the guy who owns "bowsinister archery" in PG. He flyfishes, and I think he's got a pretty good inventory of places.

Crooked R is closed below the 200 until July 1 - includes angusmac area. Bait ban, single barbless and trout/char release above the 200 apr1-jun30
