7-28 moose deer elk

Plan on entering LEH for bull moose in 7-28 just curious if anyone has any input on this area. How about elk and deer

Very few deer...... a few in the summer but basically none by fall. No elk. Deep snow belt area. Decent, but not astounding moose population.......in pockets here and there.

I hunted griz, up the Leo Crk fsr in the spring of 2011, didnt see any bears, but saw lots of moose around Tchentlo Lake and up Rottacker Rd

I have hunted moose there. The population went down a bit over the last few year, no deer or elk that I have ever seen.

I was talking to a fella from Mackenzie today and he was telling me that there is tons of mine activity in 7-28 to the extent that some roads are piolet car controled.

Did a grizz hunt with Trapman up there in 2010 for his grizz. Saw maybe 10 moose in 5 days with quite a bit of ground covered. We both thought at the time that there seemed to be decent numbers there

no moose in or around PG :P

logged a block by chuchi lake this year. Decent moose numbers around there, nothing crazy though. seen quite a few bears and a couple wolves. theres a few deer kicking around but our block got >4ft of snow this winter so the deer definetly get pushed off all the hills.

Spent two weeks in there last fall , Lots of hunters , there were 6 camps within a 5 km area , there were 2 moose taken in the two weeks we were there , we seen one cow and we shot a big black bear , it rained a lot and the roads were a bitch , Have fun:)

not much for deer or elk but decent population of moosew but its normmally a gong show cuz the cow draws in there to and caves open up so theres lots of hunters
