Dinner Guests

This yearling moose was browsing out behind our house tonight as we dished up dinner (pork tonight, not moose). You'll notice that ticks have been bothering it.

Nice to see a moose so close for photos.

Yes it is nice. We see them quite often-sometimes right in our yard. There is a cow the shows up around this time a year and she usually has a couple of newborns with her.

Here is the same moose only I was about 10 metres from it this time. I only had my phone camera, but you can clearly see how much hair has been rubbed off from its shoulders.
