This isnt much but I was bored and thought I would post a small vid of a decent muley I was tracking this year. The track wasnt as crisp as I wouldve liked but it was fresh and In had the whole day to track him down, I got close enough to see three does he met up with but he read the play and booked before I could get even a glance.

[QUOTE=dino;1144537]This isnt much but I was bored and thought I would post a small vid of a decent muley I was tracking this year. You have to stick it out and dog him, if you jump and he takes off that's a great start, now you know the trails hot and it won't be long before he hangs up to watch his back trail, and button hook downwind to smell you. Dig in deep and find that extra energy and concentation and dog him, the loop method is a fine tool. Many times this has worked for me and many times I have eventually ended up where I cut the track in the first place. You want it bad enough you have to sometimes start where you wanted to quit.

Big bucks travel in the dark and breed in the dark only.
Only those are in darkness but there still enemy's to listen for.
Younger periffual bucks will wander out in the day light hours to dflower.
Dead Meat .. Bah HOOM! .. 145 class to 170 class typs the scales .. in the tellis shales

Big buck sightings are one thing and big buck tracks are another thing. You see the tracks from the darkness last night.
This track is moving along at a good clip, not splayed out in front, what does that tell jeltracker?
The deer tracker?
This track is fat and long and it's a cranker mule buck, prolly five years old and still runnin against the wind.
He's older now but still runnin against dah vind.
His rack? Big five point on ones side and a six on the tother side, see how the track is slightly twisted to the left instep of the bucks front hoof is what yer seein in dat dare picture.
Weight? Live weight 225 pounds to sink that deep into snow covered frost and forest floor hard dirt.
When he made track? About five a.am. The edge of the track was slightly melting.
Jel tracker .. Month? Late October early movember .. Travelling speed? 8 km an hour .. What was the buck doing?
The buck was heading out cross country, establishing ground and pound areas, noting doe trails coming down and across at the speed mentioned above.
