There is a general misconception that mixed-breed dogs and cats are inherently free of genetic disease. Interesting read which seems to go against what we've been told for years.
Funny, when our Daughter worked at the Vet's Office, she kept telling us that mixed breeds were better and why would we get pure breds?
They ended up with a pure bred dog and pure bred cats, hmmm. :)

Good Read Kas, nice to see what we have been saying all along in print. That being said mixed breeds from responsable litters, cattle dogs and working hounds being a prime example are a good example of good mix breed litters.
