Planning for the fall LEH, region 4-02 and 5-10,11,12?

The last few years we have been going to 4-22 for the GOS and we head up into the hills. Decent amount of game but lots of g bears. Seems like a few less animals than in years past.
This year we are looking at some different spots.Just looking for general advice, like road closures, accesability, camping areas
were looking at putting in for an LEH in 4-02 and for 5-12
I looks like not to many people apply for moose shared hunts in 5-10,11,12 why is that?

Yes I saw that too. I call the Ministry to get some understanding as to why the tag numbers to odds was the way it reads. he wasn't of much help...basically telling me the ministry has issued that number of tags for so many years and it is what it is. The odds are definately in your favour....just a long hall to get to from langley....think we are heading to 7-17.

we hunted the Sep season last fall in 5-12A. Worked really hard and managed one bull (small) and saw very little game of any sort. Nice area back in there but a long ways in. Might be better in Oct during the rut. We also had very warm weather which certainly didn't help

PLUS, 5-12, and 13 are closedto ATV's and snowmobiles for hunting and surrounding 5's are no ATV from 4-10am. A buddies aunt owns a resort up there and when talking to her husband, he was telling me he can't understand WHY there are so many tags for 5-12 when he hasn't gotten a moose in 4 years! The caribou are all over the lake during the winter, but disappear about 2 weeks before the season opens....damn things must've learned to read!

There are no moose left in most of region 5.
5-6 and 5-12 are practially empty, lots of indians and wolfs and considerable poaching by locals.

4-02 lots of wolves on West side of lake and have to ask permission for native (east side of lake), Seen lots of game on Eutsuk lake. Thats why they call it a lottery, put in for places you have never been then you go for the trip.
