Normally I'd suggest some where up the Coq but I'm thinking it's WAY too early for that, there's still too much snow. You might try a few pockets in behind Hope but that may have access issues do to high water??

I have been thinking the same. I started looking at temps the last 3 weeks and Pemberton area was looking the best.

I was up at MU 3:18 Monday . Drove to 1100 meters.
Saw ultra fresh moose crap, followed by ultra fresh wolf scat.
No bears tho

I'm going to my bear spot tomorrow and I am gunning for a cranker! I got one this same time last year and hoping to do the same this year.. I'm going to call for them with a screaming distress call.

Was up around hope a couple weeks ago and was stopped by snow pretty quickly,it didn't look like there was much other than the stuff that was on the road blocking me from getting where I wanted to be,took a peak around but didn't see any sign.the weather has been decent though, you should go up there and get back with a snow report for me :D

This early try Nahatlach river in Boston Bar, most other places i know would be poor choices this time of year.
May 10 seems to be the magic number for spring bear.

Not a bear hunter but if I was and lived in the LML I would take the ferry to the island at this time of year. Although I have heard of a few out and about around Kamloops

Go up into furry creek .. bear in there
Onion lake area in Lytton. Seen a few up there in the past and lots of bear shit. I would guess the conditions around now would be good

Saw one small guy two weeks ago up the upper Lillooet FSR (pemby). Let it go. I have been all the way down to Sloquet hotsprings from Pemby and driven every logging road in between (snow permitting) and haven't seen a single poop! Lots of grouse out getting it on! Another week or so I bet
