i had some trouble with the scope on my rifle ( has been fixed ), i ride my quad with my rifle in the gun holder and over the years it seems that the jarring screwed up my scope. has anyone else had problems with their scopes being jarred from a quad?

No scope problems, but my gun fell off my quad when a wash out snuck up on me . Broke my stock in half most definately jarred the stock

Was still on target after I glued the stock together... Good rings, good scope.

Drove over it with quad.

Replace it with a Mcmillan Edge and then you can drive over it all the time and not break it and lighter to pack too ! :) LOL RJ

Ground the crown off a rifle in a Gunboot, since then, switched to a leather scabbard across the front rack.
Never had any scope issues on quads, but skidoos are a different story. I pack my rifle in a leather scabbard pointing forward on the right side of the tunnel. Lots of vibration so you need quality mounts/rings/scope.

Same thing happened to me as the above picture. I rolled the quad and broke the stock off my Sako Finnlight. A bit of crazy glue to hold it together, then epoxy over that and she was good to go. Took a black bear with it the next day. :)
Still replaced the stock later though!
As for the scope question, never had a problem after thousands of hard riding k's on my quad with a rifle.
