I won't ask if anyones had the crotch stitching come apart, haha. However, has anybody used the Rainy Pass Warranty form and sent the pants in?? They blew apart on the first hunt and have been hanging up ever since. Seeing if its worth sending away, or just sending to the land fill?

Thanks

I will let you know in a few weeks when I get my Coldfront pants back...haha... tore a hole in the ass when I slipped and fell down a creek bank. If the stitching actually tore apart at the seam, it should be covered under Sitka warranty, they might replace them.

Bumping this - any news on how their customer service on warranty is? Also has anyone been billed for wear and tear repairs - is it worth it? or just get new ones?

Just take them to a seamstress for 5-10 bucks to fix. If the warranty is bunk.

Sent two pairs in,cost me shipping one way. Was hoping would get something better then just them fixing the pants. It would be cheaper to save shipping and just get somone to sew crotch etc.

I got 2 years out of my acent pants before the crotch split. $10 bucks at the sew shop has them better than new. My 4 year old 90% pants are still going strong, despite them being snug. They must have shrunk!

LOL! a lot of my clothes have been shrinking lateley too... might need to use colder water to wash'em.

I would totally go the seamstress route for stitching - I was thinking more along the lines of taking a slide down the mountain. Will the (materials) warranty cover the road rash or should I just buy again?
