Turnagain Lake

Has anyone ever flown into Turnagain Lake or Settee Lake (a little farther east) and had any moose, sheep or caribou success. What's guy's sense about how the outfitter in there feels about resident hunters.

The outfitters are good guys and you wont have a problem with them or the crew.

Like DD says though, Turnagain is not the best option to fly in.

One option that could work well would be to fly in a canoe and a small motor to Turnagain lake. Canoe down to Boulder city and then rip back up. When I canoed the Turnagain to the Liard we saw 23 moose in one day between turnagain lake and boulder city.

Geoskier, what time of year did you do that trip? Deaddog and BB, regarding choice of lakes - you say that because ....?
