Hey guys,

I was given this hook by someone to use, and it works quite well ice fishing. I cannot find them anywhere here or online. Does anybody know where I can get them? It would also help if someone knows what they are called, as I could then search for them online myself.

Looks like one of those thin wired jig hooks you can get at the larger Canadian Tires. Dunno about the plastic fishy it's going through.

Yeap, I'd say it's a gamigatsu jig hook, don't know if that one's weighted or not but I know most tackle shops carry a gami jig hook

Looking up gamikatsu, and only hooks come up, not the jig body. The whole works is what I'm looking for

WSS in Grande Prairie Alberta, had them, but ICE fishing favorites are very depleted, but possibly there are some still in stock,

fishing supplies in DCrk sucks for selection,,,,,,,

I see a lot of that stuff in the Coastal stores. I guess because no one ever buys it as it is pretty useless for our fisheries. It's pretty ammusing to see what tackle works in other area's of our country.

I catch so few fish in that lake, and normally lose more than I catch so... ya, it's barbed. It is such a small hook that it usually pops out on its own once I get them out of the water anyhow.

that there is a gamagattsu

I don't think that's a Gamakatsu. The barb part is too thin. Lots of red hooks out there.

the hook is definitely not a GAMAKATSU, just because its red doesn't mean thats what it is, i would say its just a jig hook from a pack of rubber minnow jigs.
the whole pack from matzuo looks pretty close

It is not that things like that don't work in the coastal fishery but instead they are not a popular go to lure.

A lure similar to the one in the pic has caught bass, cutthroat, and bulls for me many times but I know almost no one uses them around here
