thanks

We just finished about 30 lbs of duck/goose jerky and we use dollar store cake cooling racks and put them on top of original racks, if you need to lift them slightly put a canning jar band under them. Racks are much easier to clean than screens

I use expanded steel mesh for my homemade smoker racks. Go to local machine shop or wherever they sell steel.

Cake cooling racks from the Stuporstore. I had to use wire cutters to make them fit my Bradley, but they work good, and the price is right!

After mucking around for years trying to scrub my smoker racks clean with a brush I have finally gotten smart and resorted to using a light spray of easyoff and a pressure washer to clean the damned things. Takes me about 10 mins to clean my smoker racks and every other removeable part from my smoker clean as a whistle.

I have made 3-4 batches of ground beef jerky. I place it on parchment paper till it is firm. Then remove the parchment paper and finish it off. I use the big chief and seems really good.
