Well I got off work 2night and just as I walked in the door the phone rang. A couple buddies were out huntin, just before dark and spotted a nice 4x4 in a cut. So they shot at it, it dropped and got up and ran. By then it was gettin dark so they headed to town to get some flash lights. Me and a friend met them out there and we searched. No luck for about the first hour, and then I spotted some sort of eyes on the top of a small ridge. We get up close and it was the buck still alive, but down. It got up, one finishing shot and it was done. According to them on the phone, they said it was at least 30 inches wide and REALLY tall. Walk up to it, its only about 14-16 inches wide, and REALLY tall. Nice buck, huge body on him too. Finally got him out and back home at 2am!!!! Twas a fun time for sure.
Here are the pics, sorry they are pretty dark.
