hi guys,
s0ylentgreen here - Weatherby 300winmag - Hornady 180/200 shooster here.
im researching my fall elk hunt.

anybody have experience or plans with creston wildlife reserve?
4-6 or 4-7 zone c, etc

I imagine it would be a shooting gallery/zoo when the season first opens?

depending if i get a draw or not - would you suggest going for this area either way?

Thoughts?
thanks!

thanks so far guys
here is my intro:

i live in vernon -north side of okanagan lake - came from saskatchewan where i only hunted ducks/geese/grouse
totally hooked on deer and big game hunting. have a few friends who are hard core hunters (spend 10 days in the rain - camped out in the mountains by creston) but i have a family and need to do my hunting close to home - im hoping whatshan or arrow lakes could be a good place to start.

a joke you shall receive

this is a story of one man with such a goal - his everest....

Early season cow draws there are a tough hunt, they leave the zone early in the AM and are up the mountain above the boundry WAY before first light. Unless you find a weetarded cow that is easliy confused, limping and walking slow.
