hey guys/gals I m leaving on Oct 31st for my bull draw, which is btw Merritt and Kamloops.(Helmer area- 319-B) Just wondering if anyone knew if the rut would be pretty much finished by then and if calling would still be effective? Also would the bulls be in high country or lower areas? thanks, Rob

The Helmer is area is pretty flat, no real high country around there. The moose might be calling and answering.

Helmer is the highest ground between Kam and merritt :?: So it is the high country around here....

average elev. is about 4500 or so
