Nice bull, well done. Not many things more exciting than calling in a big moose.

Good on ya. Shows calling can work after the main rut ( second estrus?). A moaning female is a moaning female, anytime.

Way to go Ray, that will look really good in your shop gallery. How are you going to set him up? Shoulder mount? Full body mount? (now wouldn't that be huge!) That must have been quite the rush...

ill do a shoulder mount on him. the kill shot was him quartering away running and i put it through his neck and it came out of his lower jaw blowing a tennis ball size hole there so it will be tough to fix that up nicely but should still work out.

ya he will make a nice mount for sure. did he have a long bell? i think that makes for a great mount on a moose, the long bell.

Awesome looking animal, he should fit in your freezer rather nicely.

So who are you getting to do the work?:biggrin:

Just kidding Ray. Thats a beauty bull. Congrats. Can't wait to check it out when I pick up the bear hide.

thanks, he's got a 44" spread but the impressive part was his brow tines, nice and thick, with 4 on each side. 10X9 total and a couple points broken off.
