Has anyone tried or used this bino harness? I haven't seen them around, and wouldn't mind checking them out.

Yeah Italian sporting goods sells a bino -bra I think they call it. I have been looking into buying one for my Bino's ...

I bought a Vortex bino harness last year and definitely one of my favourite purchases for the year. Don't even notice your binos hanging there; quick and easy to get and out of the way when you don't need them.

I bought one at X-mas while down int he states. I have not really used it much other then one outing. Plan to give it a try this spring for bear. Not sure if you saw the review of them on the Eastmans site, but here it is.

They are built pretty good and so far they seem pretty good.

I use a Vero Villini type, not quite as bulky as that one and not quite as expensive. It does look well made but I think it may be too bulky if you are wearing it under a pack unless you're a mangina.

The idea has been around for years. There's another system called Bino-buddy too, which is similar. I made my own system for holding binos close to the chest for hiking. They use heavy elastic straps to keep them tight to the chest, but they have enough give to allow you to bring them to your eyes for glassing.

I'd buy 'em if I was you.

Thanks for the link. I've tried a pile of different bino harnesses and have yet to really like any of the ones I've tried. I like my Badlands one but find it too bulky for back packing. I'm going to try and track one of these S4 down to check it out in person.

These guys are Canadian and are about the same price as buying out of the US by the time one pays duty etc.

Have a Badlands bino harness bag...keeps bino protected and clean..I don't find it to cumbersome..offers easy access..
