I have access to white overalls and coveralls from a friend in the industry. I was thinking of getting a pair and turning them into winter camo. Have any of you done this? What kind of paint should I use that won't smell. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Henry

Great idea. I would just go for the dollar store acryllic paint. Just go nuts on it.

Seems like they are already winter camo.

I would go to a place like Fabric Land and pick up some color die.

Vertical stirpes of flat black worked good for me....... CHeep white flease coat and paints are easy to get. Nice fleace snow camo is usually too dark for my like'n and costly.

Thanks for the replys. I'll get some cheap paint somewhere. I'm not in the snow that often but when I am the white camo should really help.

maybe try a Jumbo felt marker . no mess and the ink should stick good.

Henry Just leave it all white and buy yourself a fleece winter vest to wear over top and breakup the body.

Try Tye dying it with black and grey clothes dye and elastic bands like they used to do with tea shirts, should work alright

I like the magic marker idea, I think I'll try that. Should be pretty fool proof for me.

I used a process similiar to tie dying. Bunch up parts of material and spray with paint worked great. You can even practice first on old rags to get it just right. Also to keep some of the "Best Dressed" hunters on this site happy, use a sharpie to write Sitka or Under Armour on the tag
