managed to take a couple short clips with my still camera of this tom lion jumping the tree.
Left him in the second tree to grow bigger next year.

Glad to see someone actually getting out still and putting them in the tree, I gave up a couple weeks ago on them after putting over a 1000 miles on the sled and only treeing 3 cats it was some depressing cat season down here in the south okanagan.Nice pack you got there btw .

Awesome vid thanks. Do you ever loose a dog or get one chewed up if you run into one thats had enough of running or does the pack keep that from happening?

458, sometime you do loose a dog. Cougar don't always tree and occasionally they wil catch a dog and infact kill a dog. For the most part the cats tree when the start getting tired infact sometimes way ahead of the dogs. This cat just chose a small tree and felt uncomfortable.

First leopard I've seen in B.C. What do you think of the breed?

Thats gotta be a real horible feeling when that does happen. I've known of cats taking single dogs but I hope that running a pack lessens that for you and yours. Thanks again for sharing hopefully I'll get to see that in person one day too

Tredster, is quite abit bigger then the sire and dame and seems to more of a Leopard hound then cur. Nice dog, easy to train, this bear season should give me agood read on him after 40 bears or so.
Seems like he will make a good lion dog anyways.

Thanks for sharing! That shit gets me pumped up to hits the woods this spring with my dogs. Nothing like the music those dogs make on a close chase after the jump.
