it was Sept 10th 3 point closed and 6 point or better opened up in muskwa it was my second day on a ten day hunt
my father-in-law and i left camp early while others where still making coffee ect. 2 km from camp we here a great bugle we directly headed in his direction about ten minutes later we here him bugle again this time he was close i went ahead of my father inlaw and when i reached 50 yards ahead the bull bugled again my father inlaw let out a bugle and this bull was on us hard.
i just broke the tree line to c a massive rack and he was spooked somehow he sensed he made a mistake running full speed away from me i quicklly put my scope on him and stopped myself from squeezing i instead reached over and let out a mew from trusty hoochie momma he instantly did a 180 at 100 yards and gave me a shot 1 shot and he dropped on the spot later i found out i blew his heart to pieces my friend was unhappy as he luvs eatin heart sorry george :)
