Squamish Valley elk: Guess the age/sex!

A slow few weeks of my trail cam. Just found this lone elk, snacking on some bushes.

Looks like a young cow

it appears to be a young elk, sex ? hard to say,

but it is definitely an 8 pointer !,,,,,,,(2 points on each foot) makes 8 points !

Cow 3,1/2 years old.

I will agree with 1947. It is too early for most bulls to drop ( up here anyway ). She looks to big in the hips and chest too be a yearling and her face dosn't have the dinosour look of a really old cow 3 - 4 is my guess.

I think this elk is only 2.5, years small face and stature,and a cow, but this photo can be a little hard to actually pinpoint.
