Pictures From Shed Hunting Today.. Take A Look

Hey, HBC

well me and a buddy decided to head out for a shed hunt today, we were out from about 8:30 till 4:00, we didnt find to many but at least we both come home with something and wasnt just one of us finding them which is a good
thing too

well here are the pics, also can anyone help identify the scat in one of the pics?? we must have seen around 10 different piles throughout our day, we both thought it was to big to be a coyote, any ideas??

Those sheds are too small for a wolf or coyote. :)

Any sheds are good sheds. Been snowing here the almost everynight for the past cple weeks so no shed hunting

hey coach, no tics found on me after today was still very cold where we went today was -8 this moring leaving the truck, but im sure they arent far away, couple more weeks for sure and they willl be showing up

i know its not someones dog, unless someones dog is killing deer in that area cuz there were a couple piles of this scat right beside piles of deer hair, that pic of the scat had a pile of deer hair about 10 feet to its right

I've seen some pretty big coyote scat. Never with corn in it though!

Awesome sheds! The scat looks like it could have been from a coyote or possible a owl? (looks like their are some bones in it, or maybe im just blind? :mrgreen: )

my uncle did get one tick on him!

creepy little *******s they are, where abouts were you guys hiking? last year i didn't get one on me till about early to mid April and i was over in the park and came out with a set of 5x5 whitetail sheds and a 3 point mule and 5 tics

i have also heard the samething, i guess some have shed already and some haven't, also my brother lives out in sask and he said hes still seein deer supporting both sides of their head gear aswell, so its not just BC that is shedding late

Nice find I would think all the head gear is off the WT and Mule deer up here in the EK can't wait to get it happening and put some leather on in the ares I shed hunt..
