Shed Hunting 2012

[MOUNTAIN MAN - TOYOTA/ATV]

Today I went with my family for a hike with our dog. I look all over deer trails and the valley. Found some deer ribs and other bones. Saw large tree rub near whole bunch of branches. Walked out from a deer trail into tall grasses pushed flat from the winter snow and found a 3 point White tail shed antler. My first shed antler of 2012. Hope to go again soon to find more. I forgot my camera this time but here are two photos of my shed antler.

That's a nice chunk of bone and I like the backdrop too. Offsets the bone nicely.

ya, on a whitetail you count the browtine, but on a muley you dont
