:confused:A friend sent me this interesting photo. I've never seen anything like it. Some suggest it might be a moose/domestic cow cross. Maybe a Holstein. The photo was apparently taken just north of Fahler Alberta. That's all the info I have.
My first picture posted. hope it turned out OK.

It will be interesting to see where this goes on the Great Internet! We will see this picture over and over and it will be from a different town every time. Very cool though!

If my colour was a mixture of black & white like that moose I'd be angry too.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious. From a taxidermist point of view, would you say a shoulder mount from a bull moose with this condition be considered of more value? Since this condition as you pointed out is rare in moose.

Likely the same folks that identified an 87lb coyote in Newfoundland.

I have a picture of a mounted bull moose from a diseased taxidermist Abe Braun from Penticton , looks just like it.

That is the first time that I ever saw a multi-colored moose. Interesting!

Yes being that it's rare it would be of more value!

I'm not sure but the likelyhood of cross breeding cows and moose would seem very unlikely to me
