i,ve been tasked with finding out how many geese are shot in and around the coquitlam area by mayor and council.i don,t need to know where and when just how many for the year.if your not comfortable posting it it you can pm me or email.the more people that reply the more we will have to go to council with.this will be kept confidential.so please let as many hunters that hunt that area know as we will need to prove to them that hunting is helpful as a tool to reduce the goose number,s. you can reach me at dlvid@telus.net , or by pm. or 604 340 8496....thx dale

Come on guys geese fly, they move around the valley, Surrey, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford where ever, we are all shooting at the same birds. One CLOSURE at a time, then what memories? I've seen enough when I was a kid posts on here.

Doesn't the MOE have any numbers? Contact the Regional Bio. They have to base the numbers on data, which explains the more liberal seasons.
damn, you're making me work. Wait a sec.
Here ya go. Call Jack Evans and explain the whole Coquitlam deal.

Jack already knows all about the situation and has been working to stop this closet ban on no discharge of firearms.

He said the same thing pretty much happened in surrey way back when but he figured this one could be stopped.

I grew up in Coquitlam and was not aware of any places open for hunting other then on the Pittmeadows side of the river on the dyke.

Wish I could help you more Dale, but my waterfowling days are long ago. Wish you luck, it's all hunting, and you're fighting the good fight. Thanks for all your work,
Chris
