Saw this group off the side of the road last Saturday. Looks like a healthy group.

i grew up in osoyoos, i don't remember ever seeing or even hearing of sheep in the area with the exception of the vaseaux lake herd.this is very cool, i wonder if they are migrating from the keremeos area?

I saw 8 members of the Vaseaux herd in February. They were much much larger than the ones in the posted photo, but yes they do look healthy.

That area has alway had Cali Bighorns on it rumor has it good hunting if you have a "Card"

There are alot more sheep out there than one might think, now lets get a GOS in these MU 's ..

MOE has a count number and a target number, guess they don't match yet. If they ever do, something else will change, always easier to manage no season than any opportunity.

Hopefully they can stay away from domestic sheep, it would be a shame to have them destroyed...
