2006 mule deer hunt

This year was a pretty exciting year, called in many bucks and does as well shot a nice 4 point buck at times it was like a traffic jam for deer going by each day. Never saw so many bucks but I did a little scouting and found out they logged a area ajacent to where we hunt which pushed the deer over to where we hunt. Unfortunately I can't post a picture in the thread but I posted a few in my gallery one of my mule deer as well as another 4point that walked under my stand and a whitetail doe which wouldn't leave because I kept bleating to bring here back in. At one point I called in a muley doe with a fawn which were calling back to me to find out where I was that was exciting, I can't wait to go back for whitetail in november:lol: .

Great buck, and nice pics in the gallery.
Can you give any specifics on how you choose a trail to position your tree stand? Ive got one and want to use it more, Im just not experienced at picking good stand locations.
