I live in Prince George and fish locally most of the time (within 3 hours of PG)

Anyone else hunt down fish on hardwater in the off season??

Great pic's, thanks for sharing. I miss ice-fishing. I used to ice-fish for about 30 years back when I lived in manitoba. Walleye were my favorite, then Lake Trout.

Some big char coming out of that lake! I'm assuming I know where you're fishing...but I could be wrong. Are the burbot from the same lake?

I've been after the burbot pretty hard since January. It's been a very inconsistent this year, and the sizes are way down, so haven't been able to have burbs for dinner very often this year.

hehe, ya lotsa people try and guess the lake. The burbot fishing has been awesome this year. Largest was just over 36". No i dont eat the whitefish, some people do. They have a nice white meat, similar to ling.
I never keep lake trout and release 95%+ of the fish i catch.

Some beauty fishes there! I've only been out 3 times this year. Gonna try to get out this weekend and snap a line or two!
