4-25 Griz in April

I was lucky and drew a 4-25 Griz tag. I have the chance to get out for about 8 days mid April, then again in mid May. I know the area well as I've elk hunted this area, but was curious if it is worth the trip from VI in Mid April? I've never been out there during this time of year. Any comments??

Not a lot of roads plowed on the east side of the kootenay. The only ones working up there is the Baymag mine up the magnesite. The palliser is plowed to the 18 but that is it. No logging on the Ravenshead so it has not been plowed. There has been some logging up the Kootenay but you would have to call the Tembec office in Canal Flats to see where they were.

hey bud i work at the baymag mine site u can only drive to the 27 the mine is at the 38 i would not bother in april my self and would push for the last few days in june send me a pm maby we can get out some time
