I have an older warn A2000 mounted on my atv. My big grey switch is starting to stick and keep the winch spooling. It over $100 for a new one. Warm makes an upgrade kit that turns the A2000 into a 2500lbs winch and a handlebar rocker switch, this cost around $120us. My winch is 15 years old.

I bought a super winch terra 35 at princess Auto on sale for $199. What are your thoughts on these winches. On paper there better but how are they in the real world. My buddies have superwinch LT2500 and they work good. The Terra's are supposed to be a step up

I have a Superwinch LT3000 on my quad. Works well and came in handy the first time I was out with it.

If you're in the market for a low cost winch, take a look at this place. I picked up a the 12,500 lbs unit with wireless remote for $500 and that included shipping to my door. It seems to be a pretty decent unit too.

Their quad sized winches have some features that many don't and they're still very inexpensive.

Ummm, which place is that exactly, I don't see a link.

If I was doing it again I would use a relay kit or winch kit with a handlebar rocker and a wired remote. ATVs are so light that any winch will do the job.
