Anyone know the story of that big blacktail in Rick Berriths booth? Buddy sent a pic to me today and now I'm curious lol .. It seems he's got me tied for the #2 position in the BC book

I will ask him the story tomorrow when I'm there helping him out. What i do know is it was brought down from pg by majestic taxi.

I think it's a new.. A pic of the rack last year at the show was sent to me and now in the booth.. 4x5 with big brows!! I got Pics on my Phone and not near my puter or I'd post

I wonder if it is the same buck that my friend figures was shot up out of Stave. He was shown the field photo by Rick last year. That is what verified it for him. He figures it came from the property that was a dear haven for years. The property owner fenced his place, but the deer managed to find a way to come and go as they pleased. He fed them year round. A few years ago the owner sold.

The same guy that brought in that rack, apparently brought in more than one buck that made book. All the bucks were harvested with a bow. Again, I am not saying that it is, buy my friend is quite certain. He was up there one time. He said some of the bucks were whoppers.

What happened to the other number two "blacktail" that I seem to remember being in the book... Things that make you go hmmmmm...... I'm confused. Here's the #2 at the show.......

It looks like there is a tie for second now, the one at the show this year would be the new #2 if it had not grown a sticker on the one side. Hope this clears up the confusion and as for the missing record i would suggest anyone wanting to know just contact a B&C measurer for an answer.

There is only one reason I know of for a missing or pulled entry.....

Its true! seen a pic of the rack from the last show.. It scared me a little as it was like 158 and change back then and if it didnt have that cheater as said id be number 2 lol.. congrats to the hunter and welcome to the top three!! pretty buck too i might add!

I found the euro pic of that new entry.. Here you can see the cheater point on the left that kept him from knockin me out lol... and i dug up the only raw pic i have of mine..

Well,will hopefully have video of him catching an arrow this year ! fingers crossed ! should have his sheds in a month .

Do any of the PG guys know if Marty mounted the big 3 point mule deer sheds yet. I haven't been down that way for a few years and he said he was going to get a cape for them. I just wondered if they have been done.
