Green Lake moose

Just got back from a trip with 2 good friends after a week looking to cancel one buddies LEH moose tag in 5-1. We found a nice little hole that had moose in it every day we were there but the one bull in there never presented a shot. :mad:

We did however get this little guy in 3-30 to take the edge of an otherwise fun but frustrating trip.

Congrats, nice looking bull. Just got mine back from the butcher. Another immy weighed 350lbs cut and wrapped, great eating, enjoy.

Ours weighed 275 lbs on Meatmans hook, not big but more meat in three freezers than we had last week!!! We almost ran over a brute one morning at first light but it's all just a fond memory now!!!!

It's the only one so far GB but I'm working on that!!! OOPS I forgot the bruin in the spring. Still have more tags though.

Way to go David. That little bull will be great eating.

You had better luck than we did. We had the group LEH for bull moose and out of the four of us, we only saw two cows all week. Lots of grouse and I managed to fill my mulie doe LEH, so there is a bit of meat for the freezer.
