Last fall had the grizzly leh tag! Saw only 4 grizz had them all under a 100 yards but no true monsters ! Now we both drew and i have another chance =ya baby !
My hunting partner and i are thinking about using the bows!
How cool would that be ?

You'll be one of the first I've seen getting a grizz with a bow. Based on forum feedback, you'll need a 338 or larger to take one down.

Nah you could drop a grizz with a 7mm 280 rum 308 it's all were you put the bullet......FEAR THE MAN WITH ONE GUN lol

I've guided several grizz and blackies and have already taken one 10 years ago with my 303 british ! It's all about breaking the front shoulders ! We will be getting the hunts on video =depending on our weather and adrenalin!

they go down very nicely with a well placed shot ,i have 2 with a bow

Quickest bear kill I ever saw was with a bow. Take out both lungs and they wont go far - just make sure they dont know where you are cause they can still go far enough to chew on your skull a bit before tipping over!

To sweet getting a second chance at a big grizzly, I've watched Fred Bear take down some awsome bears with a bow but if I were you two guys it would be one with a bow and one with the 338 mag. Good luck to the both of ya.

No problem with a bow. It would be a chance of a lifetime. I would hide under a brushpile just off to one of their paths and jump up when he is within 5-7 yards and give him a double lung shot. He wouldn't even know it was coming and would probably drop about 2 feet from you. What a rush!!!! Oh yeah, make sure your partner films you crapping your pants too!!
