6-10 Grizz

Hey all

I have started a couple threads, commented on a few more, but haven't asked for too much advice. But hope to get some now! A hunting buddy and I each drew a spring griz tag for 6-10....yes we did realize it was boat access only before applying. I hear the river can be a little tricky to run depending on water level, but we both have plenty of experience running rivers. Our plan is to run up to the lake, glassing slides. I know my buddy has seen bears from the lake. Can anyone who has had this draw offer any advice?

Any information would be much appreciated. PM's are great.

The river can be a bit of a challenge at times but go light and watch the rocks you'll be fine.

There is some access by road past Dasque creek in case the water is to low, there are some grizzlies hanging out there. With this years snow pack you should have lots of water though, good luck. Tons of slides to check out all the way up so don't be in a hurry.

Don't forget that grizzlies love spring beaver hunting as well, lots of that to be had on the way up the river!
