I was wondering if anyone knows where a guy could get a Motorola ht 1000 programmed in Vancouver. I just got one and the channels are all from who knows where. Would be handy for logging roads and maybe weather channel.

take a look at the radio frequency guide for bc, some of the channels u might want could be under a different name in your radio but the correct frequency .
you can get the guide from coles book store.

Just google VHF freqs and you should see BC & Alberta freqs, go to bottom of page and they are listed.
