finaly made my decision on my base camp tent. light enough i can pack it on the horse as well and use it at treeline .looking forward to using it in the spring.any one else use one and how do you like it .going to pick up a small stove for it as well .

Not to knock it, its a fine tent but that looks like a bit of pipe to pack.

I bought one three years ago. Last use was for a base camp in Spatsizi (three hunters).

spent 10 days in a similer one on a goat hunt years ago.
slept 4 with cotes all around the perimeter, stove in the middle was nice as everyone stayed warm even up high at snowline.
i'd do it again

Thats my tent!!?? It takes some time to get used to setting it up, but 4 guys in it no prob. I even built alittle 'round' table to go around the center pole. Works great.

What a cool tent. It seems like it would be a lot easier to set up the a regular wall tent.
