Some of you may remember the recent dustup regarding what methods can be used to hunt game in BC. Here is an email I received today from Ken Cameron Core Coordinator at the BC Wildlife Federation. I asked him to look into the issue of "Legal Hunting Methods" and here is his reply :
"I have checked with the BC Conservation Service and to hunt any species in British Columbia, you must employ legal hunting methods as prescribed in the Hunting Regulations. For example, if you are hunting grouse you must employ legal hunting methods and can not use a pellet gun, spear etc. as they are not legal hunting methods."

I know I'm a little hung up on this but it really irks me to think that kids and new hunters might be led astray by postings on this website advocating illegal practices.
