Hello everyone. New to the Forum. I have been reading posts for a while and now decided to post. I am going up this week to Princeton to hopefully get a my buck. I was thinking of staying at one of the hotels but i did a search online and see that they wanted approx $80 a night. I rememeber going to Osoyos last year and paying 30 a night. Does anyone know a good place to stay thats cheap in Princeton.

Also how is the hunting over there right now.

THanks

Theres a couple motels here for like $40-50 a night, last time a frioend stayed in one was a few years ago and it was $50 at the most. Check out Ponderosa motel, Evergreen Motel, I forget the names of the otherrs.

Don't forget that if you are a BCWF member you can get discounts at some places (I think).

thanks everyone for the suggestions. I am going to give it a go in the truck. Anyone know if the higher elevation mountains have any snow on them right now?

Hunting wise, Hit the Jura, Not as mant people as up whipsaw or lamont and there are allot of tasty little 2 and 3 points runnin around up there. I got a buck out of there a couple of weeks ago, pretty good for elk as well. Try up 11 kilometer and keep right! We saw 11 bucks there opening morning for any buck.
Good luck.

There is snow in the Lamont area, was up there on Monday, there was about 2 inches and more was falling, but it gets to a good temperature during the day so it could be gone

oh and if your going to take the Jura road back into Moose camp be prepared because it was pretty rough, mostly washboard the hole way.

thanks....

Question for all you expierence hunters... if its snowing do i hunt the lower down areas where there is no snow or do i hunt the snowy areas as it may be easier to see the buggers...?
