Looks like most shots were at ducks sitting on the water....don't consider that a sportsman's shot

Perhaps not with a scattergun but I'm sure it would be a whole lot harder with a bow, if you wanted you could always try and get them flying with an arrow to make it more "sportsman" like.

It'd be a hoot! I'd love to give it a go.
If your arrows are assembled right they'd most likely float vanes-up for easy retrieval.

My dad said " never shoot a sitting duck" I think he ment with a shot gun. I prefer spot and stalk on canadas, got a double once, and reused the arrow. Also arrows float if they don't break.
