So I just wanted to see what everyone is using out there!

I'm using a primos "hot dog" for barks and howls, and a primos ki-yi for rabbits and other calls. I also have a mini phantom for close calls.
The bugle on the hot dog seems to distort the sound, I think it works well with out the "horn" but my grandfather thinks it sounds like S***

Invest in a good custom made call, it's worth it and the sound quality can't be beat. I used to think I wasn't talented in coyote calling when I was using commercial production calls until I used a custom call.

Where could I get a custom call?

I just use an old elk cow call and squeal out some nasty sounding rabbit distress calls. seems to work alright, but would like to invest in some new calls myself..

I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to another forum but if you google Predator Master and look in the sponsors section, you will find numerous custom call makers. Let us know what you got.

Can't go wrong with RR calls, Rick always has a high volume of calls in stock and you don't have to wait for him to make them. Very fast shipping too. Good hunting.

Yeah he seems nice enough! He is however in new Mexico so and doesn't have an elk horn one so I told him to surprise me with either cow horn or sprigbok

I just got this SE call today. Best sounding call I got so far and it looks amazing too.

Quick question, when you use a call like the one above, as opposed to a digital that's pre programmed. How often should one call? And for how long? Is less more?
