with geese opening at the end of week wondering where a guy should look?fraser valley,rivers,delta foreshores any tips appreciated.

Saw mega herds of em' yesterday, while visiting friends in Aldergrove.

Not sure about the valley but a big flock flys right over my jobsite in vancouver. Wish I could go on the roof and blast way.

have you given any thoughts to gettin in your car or truck and going to have a look. been looking since last week and have found several different areas were there are geese. it always comes down to the last day before opening day but we have several good prospects.....fowl

i have a prospect field in surrey i seen some birds however work in van most fields i have are sumas flats ,would be dark before i could get to for a look.just hoping for sitings not honeyholes.

Saw hundreds bobbing on the low water in Mud bay yesterday at 3pm. That and the eagles are starting to show in the trees near burns bog, should keep the game birds lively!!

Hey Fowl saw a couple hundred beside the H A clubhouse in langley think that would bring the ERT running if we got permission lol

Had a herd of ~300, flying low near 200th and hwy 1, about an hour ago....


I think I'll set out some dekes tonight and see if I can't lure em' in, in the morning. :razz:

Nope, none, nothing, nada, haven't seen a bird in ages, it's all very mysterious. Musta all been shot. :biggrin:

Smaller flock just landed next door. Maybe 35 birds....

The only canada goose I wanna shoot this spring is a big ole maxima strain. We got one 2-3 years ago in the spring season, huge gander, you could tell it was in charge of the others, had the golden eyebrow patch and size was right. Should of got it mounted but alas, ate it instead hahahah

Come on march 1st. Kelly you thinking about getting out this year?
