I guess this goat was arrowed last year somewhere here in BC. Never seen the pic until now. Anyone have any info as to what this brute scores?

I thought it may have come from here? http://www.bolenlewis.com/

Maybe not?

I believe the record was broken twice last year(or at least last hunting season). Once in the early season(aug or Sept) and then again in one of the late season Skeena areas(late Jan or Feb). I'll try to dig up an old email with the official scores. I think that pic of Dana's scored over 55".

Both awesome goats particularily the late season billy8-) .

Edit-Don't have the final score but the email said the late-season was 11 3/8" and would have gone in the top 7 B& C as well. Hunter's name was Bob Milligan.
I just noticed he's only got one arrow left in his quiver.

The hunter who shot the goat is Shad Wheeler from Spokane Valley, Washington.

His statement on the measurements:

I just got this goat in BC last week, he green scores 55 1/8, he is 11 3/8 by 11 1/8 with 6 inch bases.

He was guided by Bob Milligan on a February hunt and I know exactly where the goat was shot but I'm not saying where on this forum :)

One of the owners of the Bolen Lewis outfit did take a pending record but that was until Shad took this monster.

There was a story in a magazine about the one the outfitter had arrowed (or was it shot?), I can't recall which magazine though...

Actually the email I received did say it was taken WITH Milligan and not BY Milligan. Guess I'd better get some reading glasses:redface: .

Just curious, I only see one arrow in his quiver and perhaps one fletched end behind the goat? Did he get some practise shots?

That's definitely Goatzilla.

Milligan's area is mostly fly-in or boat access.

I spent a couple days in there - it's beautiful country but it rains A LOT! Seriously wet. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I'm confused about the February hunt? are there February LEH hunts avaiable.

Take a look at the LEH regs. MOST Reg 6 draws start Aug 1 and end Feb28. Nice for a long-haired billy as long as you don't mind the occassional avalanche:eek: .

Someone say "Avalanche"? LOL

Very nice goat! I am curious where in 6 it came from as I live in 6 (Skeena valley).

Well done!

A great billy, yes. But did anyone else notice that dude has fingers like Arsenio Hall?
