Yeah but they just shot some dwarf re-labled mule deer. Hard to get pumped up about that:mrgreen:

Bartell looks like he shot his under a youth license - maybe he gets extra points for that?

57"...I can't wait to see better/bigger pics of it. Also looking forward to hearing what the measurements are.
I just dropped BCbillies off this morning for a hunt--he's going for a week with his nephew...we heard a rumor of a big goat back in the valley...that's happened twice before...both resulting in Booner's coming out. I doubt it'll beat 57" though ;)

Was wondering when they were going out, one thing for sure they will be into a lot of snow :) Nice weather for a few days at least.

I know Hedi well, she is a hard working lady with a well run outfit. Good for her.

They make a cute couple.......
You see that Elk Bull that got entered from a farm? The guy is sitting like 12' behind it. How do you spell "poser"?
Oh, I just did. :D

Yeah, I think most residents won't fork over the money for a guided hunt. Besides the money, it feels like cheating when you get someone else to do all the dirty work so the client can just pull the trigger....

Missed this thread, but that's what happens when a guys out hunting! That's a dandy set of pipes on this billy . . . great to see a goat of this caliber regardless of who pulls the trigger. Don't want to derail this thread but we had great weather, explored new country and put forth a solid effort . . . but the 12' + of snow (at relatively low elevation) was clearly a factor and will likely reduce the coastal goat population this year! While we could not locate a decent billy the trip was very much a success.

Was at the Taxidermists a week ago and held a 55inch set of goat horns. They were huge!
